Taking the proper safety precautions is critical when working around respiratory hazards. This course teaches the basics of respiratory protection, helping prepare workers to take the necessary steps to care for their respiratory health.
The course educates workers on how to protect themselves from the breathing hazards at their work site. This course explains the reasons to use respirators and the different types of respirators. It also describes the government established respiratory protection standards that all businesses need follow.
Workers need to be aware of the different types of respirators to ensure they are using the proper one for their work and situation. This course explores how to inspect and properly fit a respirator and how to maintain it so it continues to work correctly.
