We need a QA Analyst with experience testing warehouse management systems (WMS), preferably RGTI, but any WMS with the following experience would be good.
Environment:
-
WMS runs on an HP enterprise server, running HP-UX, with an Oracle database; source code written in C and Oracle Pro

C embedded SQL, PL/SQL stored packages, procedures, functions and triggers; Oracle SQL
-
Plus scripts used for some reporting and installation DDL/DML commands. Processes within WMS communicate via UNIX system V IPC mechanisms (message queues, shared memory, signals); interface to Warehouse Control System (WCS) accomplished via UNIX socket; IBM MQSeries used to interface WMS to HQ Supply Chain hub, transportation tracking and 3rd party vendor systems.
Requirements:

Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills

Strong communication and presentation/facilitation skills

2+ years experience in testing Transportation and DC applications (I2 Transportation Management, RGTI WMS)

Experience with defect management systems (Quality Center preferred) - Understanding of Unit, Functional, System, Performance, Technical and Operational testing and the tools utilized

Experience with execution and reporting of both manual and automated test scripts

Experience with testing distributed systems Additional
Skills:

In-depth knowledge of the process and skills to produce the tools needed to automate testing

1+ years automated functional testing experience

Experience with automated test tools WinRunner/QTP
-
Proficient in test tool analysis and data flow
