Commercial Services Division: Sales and Account Manager
NexTech’s Commercial Services division identifies and develops innovative, client-specific materials and process solutions. Commercial Services’ product portfolio is underpinned by its protective coating technology for solid oxide fuel cell interconnects, but includes unique materials manufacturing capabilities as well as world-class materials/process development facilities for many applications. Market spaces include solid oxide fuel cells, batteries, catalysts and corrosion protective coatings.
The Sales and Account Manager will execute the division sales plan for the product portfolio. Working closely with the division director and corporate operations, the Manager will develop and maintain relationships with customers throughout the sales process. Specific duties are detailed below:
Duties:
• Assists Director in coordinating sales calls, customer contact and communication with clients and internal operations group.
• Closes sales by coordinating business and technical requirements; assisting in contract negotiation; communicating contract requirements to internal operations; and coordinating the delivery of progress reports and product to client.
• Cultivates strong customer-focused relationships with clients. Increases depth and breadth of client relationships through up-selling and cross-selling of NexTech products and services.
• Achieves top-of-mind status with clients as solutions provider through frequent and substantive contact.
• Maintains NexTech and clients’ confidentiality in business and technical matters.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
• Enhances organization reputation by conveying corporate commitment to integrity, collaboration and innovation in business and technical efforts.
