Experience
  • An accomplished manager adept in complex, value-based sales cycles

  • Experience in forecasting revenue in a government market with large price-tag sales and long sales cycles

  • Demonstrated track record of structuring and managing complex negotiations to successful closure and delivery

  • Proven success in driving revenue through the development of long-term strategic relationships

  • Demonstrated mastery of reporting and management tools, such as Microsoft Excel and CRM

  • Extensive proven success using value-based selling into markets with multiple decision makers and long sales cycles

  • A minimum of 10 years in a sales leadership capacity, preferably within a vertical software solution provider organization, managing a geographically dispersed sales force

  • Prior experiences selling software and professional services solutions to Human Services entities is preferred

Description

Position Responsibilities

  • Manage, motivate and mentor direct sales force

  • Ownership of revenue forecasting, revenue generation and corporate profitability

  • Provide expertise and guidance to the Sales team during all phases of sales cycle

  • Budget for team expenses

  • Set, track and communicate sales goals and implement strategies to meet those goals

  • Improvement in all sales metrics by market and territory

  • Champion initiatives to ensure sales goal attainment

  • Inspire sales team members and lead by example

  • Instill accountability within the sales team

  • Work closely with various internal departments for support and assistance with marketing, legal, finance and product needs

  • Develop and maintain systems, processes and reporting

  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of our customer’s business, competitive forces and customer program funding

  • Establish and maintain ongoing relationships with vendors, reseller partners and government consultants

  • Model core values of integrity, individual effort and accountability

  • Participate in customer meetings, demos and presentations when necessary Position Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the US

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Must possess reliable transportation

  • Must be available for air travel

  • Must maintain full coverage auto insurance

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong Interpersonal skills

  • Must be available for travel 75% of the time

  • Full functional ability to use computer and computer related equipment

  • Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time
