Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- In-depth knowledge of SAP Identity Management IDM. Experience with organization structure position-based security design.
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory/LDAP.
- Strong experience in security architecture, strategy, design and implementation.
- Experience automating routine administrative process through programmatic scripts.
- Over 5 years experience as Security Analyst, developing and troubleshooting roles.
- Participation in a large SAP implementation in a multi-site organization across multiple SAP components and modules that encompasses multiple business processes.
- Experience in SAP ECC, BI, PI and other SAP ERP products.
- Solid documentation skills in writing application security policies, procedures and standards.

The SAP Security Position will be responsible for continually developing, documenting, improving, and executing strategies and procedures in support of user security role definition, user identity management, and legal/regulatory compliance
Essential Knowledge and Experience Includes:
- This person will have a broad understanding of the risks and compliance issues facing application implementations and be able to provide solutions to address such risks and issues.
- A primary responsibility will be to maintain design, build and support the SAP security solution to meet the business needs of the client.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the implementation of security controls, including the creation and implementation of security profiles for named users and processes related to security additions, deletions and changes.
- Work with the business to understand and define security needs. Translate these needs to security roles within the applications.
- Design and implement enterprise level single sign-on solutions.
- Responsible for the setup and on-going maintenance of the SAP IDM product.
- Manage assigned security related issues around SAPs ECC, BI, PI and portal products.
- Execute application security profile definition and modifications.
- Understand access policies with respect to SOX compliance guidelines.
- Evaluate separation of duty design and resolve conflicts.
- Work with IT Service Desk support staff and application configuration analysts regarding issues and problems.
- Provide training to IT Service Desk and other organizations on new security support processes.
- Work with teams in preparation for upcoming roll out of applications to users.
- Assess urgency of break-fix issues and requests.
