Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in information sciences, computer science, or computer electronics, 5-7 years of experience in enterprise desktop support and PC repair, and 1-2 years of technical and team leadership experience. Applicants should have extensive knowledge of PCs, mobile devices, software, hardware, MS operating systems, accessories/peripherals, TCP/IP, desktop management systems, networking and security. Applicants should also have a demonstrated track record of team leadership responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities for Senior Analyst – Client Technologies

  • In this position, you will be responsible for providing IT users with desktop equipment and support, determining end user needs, and recommending technology solutions, policies, and processes to benefit the organization and increase efficiencies.
  • The selected candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing client technology projects;
  • Utilize senior-level experience and understanding of the OhioHealth technology environment to troubleshoot first, second, and third level issues (70% of the job), perform root cause analysis and recommend solutions;
  • Provide consultation services to customers, technicians, and other IS resources on client technologies and solutions.
  • Leading a team of 8 desktop technicians to ensure that service level agreements are met.

Other duties include:

  • Assist with managing special projects including project reviews and task scheduling.
  • Ensuring knowledge is properly documented and entered into a knowledge DB.
  • Develops training plans for the desktop team.
  • Ensuring maximum productivity of desktop team and reports productivity to manager.
  • Identifies process improvement opportunities and assists with process development.
