BS or BA in Finance, Marketing or Business related field, MBA preferred.

3 years of relevant work experience – e.g. analyst position.  Proficient with MicroSoft Office programs and internet research tools.  Experience with VentureSource preferred.

TechColumbus is seeking a full-time business analyst.  The position will focus on funding-related functions currently performed by the VP of Venture Development, the Senior Director of Funds Management, and the Ohio TechAngels (OTA) Director, resulting in enhanced venture development work, higher value assistance to portfolio companies, and a more streamlined, efficient funds management process.

Essential Tasks include: conducting portfolio company and key industry reviews; assisting with venture development outreach and marketing efforts to venture capitalists, investment bankers, and potential strategic partners; maintaining databases; assisting with the Ohio TechAngels (OTA); and special projects as needed by TechColumbus and/or OTA.
