Senior Manufacturing Engineer

BS Engineering or Science degree (Physics or EE preferred) plus 7 years manufacturing experience - or - Masters degree (Physics or EE preferred) plus 5 years manufacturing experience

We seek a self-motivated, hands-on engineer with strong electro/mechanical aptitude, plus a broad skill set including demonstrable ability in the areas of:

• System integration (hardware/software/electrical measurement & test)
• Process improvement 
• Process documentation (including work instructions and routings)
• Quality assurance 
• Project management and Six Sigma
• Magnetics and/or cryogenics background is desirable
• Effective communication throughout all levels of the organization

Cryotronics is the branch of electronics that deals with the design, construction and use of cryogenic devices. Lake Shore Cryotronics, Inc. is a global leader in the design, manufacture and sales of temperature and magnetic measurement instrumentation serving science & industry. We currently have an immediate need for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at our Westerville, Ohio facility. The selected individual will be responsible for technical activities supporting the production and service of material characterization systems including: • Vibrating Sample Magnetometers • Hall Effect measurement systems This person will represent Manufacturing’s interests in the concurrent engineering of new products to ensure their manufacturability. They will also serve as the quality engineer for the Systems Product Group. US citizenship is required.
