Senior Programmer Analyst

* 4 year degree or equivalent in CS, MIS, or similar discipline.

* 5+ years experience in C# and .NET framework. * Experience in developing and maintaining enterprise quality applications * Exposure to databases and ability to analyze and understand schema design. * Excellent organization skills, with proven analytical, planning, problem solving and decision making skills. * Able to work independently and as part of a team with the ability to manage time and resources to meet assigned deadlines. * Experience with Visual Studio 2010, TFS 2010, WCF, Windows Services, SOA.

*   Responsibilities:

1. Participate in requirements gathering, design, development, release and defect resolution for development projects.

2. Ownership of projects and responsible for deliverables.

3. Development of new applications and functionality to include modifying existing applications, vendor integration and software release management.

4. Perform problem assessment, resolution and documentation generation.

5. Mentor junior programmers as needed.

6. Interface with Enterprise Architects to design flexible, scalable, maintainable solutions.

7. Consults with Business Analysts, Project Management, and Quality Assurance to ensure successful delivery of solutions.

*     Nice to Have:

1. Knowledge of automobile insurance industry.

2. Experience working in structured SDLC and Project Management environment including Waterfall, Agile, RAD, etc.

3. Experience in DB2 database environment.

4. High level of self-motivation.

5. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

6. Leadership skills.  Excellent interpersonal skills.
