Position Description:  InfoMotion Sports is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build and support web-based online sports communities; position reports to the Director of Online Strategy.

This is a full-time, salaried role, with benefits, for immediate hire in our Dublin, Ohio office
 

Responsibilities Include:

- Writing software code based on product specifications

- Developing software system testing procedures, programming and documentation

- Iterative testing and improvement

- Active participation in the generation of new product ideas

- Leadership/mentoring of fellow engineers

The person who assumes this role should be efficient, structured and self-starting.

Candidate Profile:

This role requires someone who is:

- able to analyze and solve complex programming problems

- able to leverage past development experience to expedite future development

- comfortable mentoring other software engineers

- well-versed in the following technologies:

o   Application development with Visual Studio (ASP.Net)

o   Application development in C#

o   Microsoft SQL Server

o   AJAX

o   XML

In addition to these requirements, candidates possessing the following skills will receive additional consideration:

o   Source code control systems (specifically MS Team Foundation Server)

o   jQuery

o   Mobile development (iOS, Android)

o   Agile Development Methodology

Critical Success Measures:

Within thirty days of employment:

- Actively identifying key requirements and providing input to the innovation process

- Effectively managing and executive priorities and expected delivery cycles

- Clearly communicating development status across the organization

- Leveraging re-using available and suitable know-how and expertise

- Efficiently working  with existing code base to resolve software bugs and enhance existing features

- Working well with other developer team members

Compensation:

- Full-time salary will depend upon experience, plus 50% employer contribution towards healthcare plan benefits
