- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) - 5+ years' experience working as a Desktop Support Specialist or Engineer, in an environment supporting Windows 2003 and 2008 servers, Active Directory, Windows XP and Windows 7 operating systems, and Lifesize Express 220 (Video Conferencing) - Minimum 3+ years working as a Systems Administrator supporting Windows servers 2003 and 2008R2 in an Active Directory environment. - Two or more years working with OS and application imaging, patching, and deployment technologies, including a thorough knowledge of Group Policy Objects implementations. - Strong ability to work with a wide variety of end user personalities, and adjust communication methods where required. - Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. - Strong familiarity with Windows Server 2003 and 2008 R2, Active Directory , IIS 6.x, and HP servers, HP workstations, and Cisco switches and routers. - Working familiarity of DNS, DFS, TCP/IP, UDP, sFTP, SMTP, IIS, Exchange 2003/2010, Symantec products (Endpoint, Backup Exec, SMTP gateway, etc.)

Position Location: Boca Raton, Florida
Position Summary:
The primary goal of this position is to ensure the smooth operation of a small but important office in the Boca Raton, Florida area. Some (but not all) of the services the successful candidate must be able to perform are helpdesk services, desktop support services, and end user satisfaction.
This person will provide (up to) tier 3 support for desktop, laptop, application, server, network and printer services for a small number of system users. This position is highly customer service oriented, and requires excellent interpersonal, technical, communication and troubleshooting skills.
This position is responsible for maintaining and supporting Desktop Support technologies, including images and image maintenance, application deployment, security and patch updates, user account control, helpdesk operation and general end user support both onsite and remotely for C - level users. This role is responsible for C - level end user support and to create and maintain documentation, maintains hardware and software standards, works projects and tasks as needed in order to provide the highest level of end user satisfaction.
The successful candidate must be well versed with the technologies and administration of Windows based environments, including Windows 2003 and 2008 R2 servers, Windows XP, and Windows 7 as well as a solid working knowledge of Macintosh hardware.
Position Objective:
- Responsible for the availability and integrity of desktop and laptop systems for a limited number of high level users
- Responsible for Printer systems and devices
- Responsible for additional end user devices (scanners, printers, Smart phones, Blackberry devices, iPads, etc.)
- Hardware, software, and supplies ordering and fulfillment as requested
- Responsible for desktop/laptop OS deployment as needed
- Responsible for client side VoIP phone systems support (Cisco)
- Responsible for Lifesize Express video conferencing support
- Responsible for MAC Air, iPad2 and IPhone support
- Daily management and maintenance tasks for related technologies and their support
- Responsible for creating and maintaining end user accounts and systems, including Active Directory GPO and logon scripts.
- Troubleshoot, resolve, and document systems issues
- Works closely with the Senior Network and Systems Engineers on server, network, vLAN, and VoIP phone systems support who may not be located onsite
- Works well both alone or in a team setting, and is expected to manage their time effectively
- Maintain a highly secure infrastructure, protecting sensitive corporate data from internal and external threats.
- Participate in On-call support as requested
STRONGLY PREFER:
- Experience with performance monitoring and management tools
- Project Management experience and/or certifications
70-75K May go higher
