A two-time Heisman Trophy winner and a Pulitzer Prize nominee are just two of the distinguished speakers TechColumbus announced this week will be headlining the 2011 TechTomorrow conference. The two-day conference, set for October 26-27, will feature thought leaders and real world practitioners sharing insights and experiences for both the conceptual and tactical tools needed to embrace the new world of the adaptive enterprise.
Scheduled keynote speakers include Nicholas G. Carr, author, who focuses on technology, culture and economics. Carr’s most recent book, The Shallows: What the Internet is Doing to Our Brains, is a 2011 Pulitzer Prize nominee and a New York Times bestseller.
David Kaufman, EVP, COO for The Motorists Insurance Group, is also a Keynote speaker who will share insights into the key role technology has played in Motorists’ success and the increasing importance of broad business skills across IT organizations.
MIT’s Jeanne W. Ross, who serves as director and principal research scientist at MIT Sloan School of Management’s Center for Information Systems Research, joins TechTomorrow as a Keynote speaker addressing the challenges and opportunities facing companies that want to embrace technology for strategic advantage.
Renowned futurist, educator and author Thornton May has been announced as the CIO Value Forum speaker. May will bring his extensive experience researching and consulting on the role and behaviors of “C” level executives in creating value with IT.
And as Special Guest Speaker, Buckeye football great and Heisman Trophy winner, Archie Griffin, will share with attendees his insights in motivating and leading teams to greatness.
