Opportunity

We are hiring a Sr. LAN (Local Area Network) Administrator position in our Information Technology department. The Senior LAN Administrator is responsible for installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of email and messaging products, such as Microsoft Exchange and BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES). Ensure optimum access to 7x24x365 email and messaging environment. Provide technical support on email/messaging-related issues. May require a strong understanding of infrastructure architecture and programming principles. Work under minimal supervision on complex projects and may assist less experienced peers. Wide latitude for independent judgment. Highly-skilled with extensive proficiency.

What do you need to join our team?

• Minimum 5 Year’s Experience in LAN Administration, specifically related to Microsoft Windows & Outlook/Exchange server support in a global environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 2003 Server or Higher.
• Microsoft Certification a Plus, but not required.
• Prior Experience with Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) for Exchange is preferred.
• Should have the Ability to Work Independently and in a Team Environment
• Must be Able to Manage Multiple Priorities.
• Must Possess Excellent Troubleshooting and Interpersonal/Communication Skills.
• Good Organizational Skills.
• Previous Supervisory Experience a Plus, but not required.

What does a Sr. LAN (Local Area Network) Administrator do?

• Subject matter expert on MS Exchange & Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES).
• Second/Third-Level Help Desk ticket resolution in a 7x24x365 global high availability, including 7x24x365 support and on-call support as needed. •MS Exchange E-Mail & BES system configuration & maintenance. •System & log monitoring, trending & reporting.
• BES technical liaison and consultant to wireless provisioning team & BES application programmers. •Interface with vendors for upgrades & issue resolution.
• Documentation as required. New technology research & analysis.
• Server hardware and operating system software maintenance for NetJets MS Exchange and RIM Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) application systems.
• MS Exchange & Blackberry software version management, including patches & fixes.
• Adherence to time and metric's tracking.
