Bachelor degree plus certifications

• 5 years minimum experience with complex network deployments, operational support, hands-on implementation and configuration of routers, switches, firewalls and wireless in a large

• LAN/WAN environment

• Expert knowledge of Cisco routers, switches and wireless

• Extensive practical knowledge of BGP, OSPF, QoS, VPNs, and firewall solutions

• Hands on experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Unified

• Voice gateways, clustering

• Network design experience with LAN/WAN/Wireless 

• Previous videoconferencing experience and LAN/WAN knowledge a plus

• Familiar with MS Office and Visio

• Leadership and customer service skills essential

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills

• CCIE/CCNP/CCVP or equivalent experience preferred

• Managing the IT infrastructure including all hardware, software, maintenance and support

• Analyze the network environment for optimal voice, video and data traffic routing performance and physical design resiliency/redundancy

• Responsible for the architecture of internal and customer solutions including: designing IP video and related solutions.

• Provide technical assistance to existing and potential clients. 

• Respond to trouble tickets, perform troubleshooting on the LAN/WAN and repair of hardware malfunction, configuration errors and telecommunication circuits and services outages

• Evaluation of new technologies

• Network designing, testing, technical writing and other duties required to architect, standardize and implement the IT department

• Create documentation of specific fixes and work done on infrastructure. Create reports on resolution of problems and requests
