Central Ohio startup and early-stage companies are being encouraged to submit their applications to become presenters at the upcoming Ohio Early Stage Summit VI. The event, scheduled for September 27-28, is designed to showcase Ohio as fertile ground for venture-ready companies. The annual summit brings together entrepreneurs and investors from around the nation for the purposes of education, networking and exploring funding opportunities. Last year there were 350 attendees with a significant portion of these being venture capitalists.
The afternoon of September 27 will be dedicated to presentations from Ohio companies that are looking to raise venture capital. There are 15 available openings for presenting startups from around the state. Companies must be early-stage with revenues under $5 million and should be ready for venture capital investments within six to nine months after the event. Central Ohio early stage companies, especially those involved in IT, healthcare, energy and advanced materials, should submit their application for consideration to Allison Finkelstein by July 26.
