January 15, 2010

Sterling Commerce has been chosen by Target Corp to help upgrade the retail giant’s e-commerce Web site.  Target announced that Sterling has been chosen to boost the global visibility of its inventory and to run cross-channel order management (the processes that link online, store and back-end functions).  The new site is expected to launch prior to the 2011 holiday season.  Previously Sterling Commerce has provided similar expertise and services to large retailers include DSW (Designer Shoe Warehouse) and Borders.  According to Business First, Sterling Commerce is one of the 100 largest employers in Central Ohio, employing 700 at its Dublin headquarters.
