BS Degree in Computer and/or Business related field preferred
 

1. 4+ years of directly related experience required.
2. Minimum of 2 years Citrix server experience including server and application support.
3. Strong organizational skills; Excellent analytical and problem solving skills; ability to handle multiple priorities and understand and be responsive to customer needs while working independently and under tight deadlines.
4. A working knowledge of Server operating systems including Server 2008 and Linux.
5. Knowledge of with experience working with Citrix, IIS, Active Directory, SQL database, MySQL, Query Analyzer, TCP/IP networking and database connectivity.
6. Hands on server-class hardware build experience. Familiarity with Network hardware including but not limited to Switches, Firewall, SAN, KVM and Server class hardware.
7. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.  Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with people with varying degrees of technical experience.  Technical writing/documentation skills.
8. System administration automation experience using a scripting language such as Perl or VBscript.
9. Familiarity with infrastructure applications including but not limited to DNS, DHCP, SNMP, VMware ESX, Microsoft Hyper V, and any Network Management System.
10. Experience with disaster recovery methodologies including hardware and software RAID, enterprise level archive solutions.
11. Excellent work history and attendance record.  The ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

We are currently seeking an accountable, self-motivated, energetic and driven professional for Systems Administrator position within our Hosting Operations Team.   Primary duties for this position are:

Provide technical leadership in IT systems planning. Undertake complex projects requiring specialized technical knowledge. Make well thought-out decisions on complex or ambiguous IT planning issues. Coordinate with users to determine requirements, provide precise documentation for support staff and display exceptional customer service skills. Ensure that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency. Establish and communicate common goals and direction for the projects both internally and externally.

Specific responsibilities include, however are not limited to:

60%
• Keep management appraised of Priority one issue’s and potential system related problems
• Ensure the hosting operation site infrastructure is sufficient and operating effectively to support all hardware and software applications in an optimal and efficient hosting function environment.
• Implement and maintain hosted applications including Web, Database, File system and Citrix based applications.
• Troubleshoot highly technical system related issues
• Automate installation and monitoring solutions to increase Hosted operations performance.
• Establish and maintain communications with the customer’s IT Department were applicable.

30%
• Provide Systems expertise and mentoring for internal support groups including Implementation Team and Tier 1-3 support whenever appropriate
• Stage and install system add-ons and upgrades
• Create and maintain system documentation
• Work with County IT to coordinate the addressing of system issues

10%
• Analyze and evaluate new products for possible utilization at Cott Systems
• Install and configure 3rd party applications according to Cott specified standards

Other Duties as assigned (i.e. Special Projects, etc.)

Travel Required:
Travel is not a routine component of this position; however may be required occasionally based on the business needs of the company
