Required: 3+ years experience in the following areas: VB.net 2005 or greater, SQL Server 2000 or greater, ASP.net 2.0 or greater, JavaScript, with experience in custom web development, database designs and implementation. Desired: Web application development experience, web service calls, HTML, CSS, windows compact framework with strong analysis and design skills.

Maintains and oversees day to day operations of application software for the University's Purchasing, Receiving, Stores and Mail departments; develops and supports MS Windows based business software programs; develops and deploys software for Intranet and Internet protocols; primary focus is in the Receiving, Mail and Stores areas while providing back-up support for all departments; provides customer/end user support, software and hardware support; responsible for troubleshooting, enhancements and new developments; meet with users and perform analysis of project requests resulting in functional and technical design specifications; participates with vendor relationships for vendor supported software; follows department standards and guidelines using a formal Software Development Liefcycle (SDLC); develops, supports and manages relational database models (mostly MS SQL). Subject to 24 hr on-call support.
