Description

In support of the Office of Financial Services; Meet with users and performs analysis of project requests resulting in functional and technical design specifications; Designs, develops, tests and installs software that are critical to business operations; support includes custom software developed in-house or purchased software from a vendor; Provides software production support duties; Systems include but are not limited to, Accounts Receivables, Collections, Refunds, Bank Reconciliation; interfaces with PeopleSoft Financials, HR and Student Information Systems; works closely with business staff and BFAP IT leadership to develop software solutions that meet the business requirements; provides technical options in alignment with BFAP IT standards and core technologies; follows a structured approach to projects and software development lifecycle principles; Assists in trouble shooting and resolving system and software issues; may require support outside during non-standard work hours; Handles confidential information in accordance with federal and state laws and university policies.
