IdeaPitch Competition
Student entrepreneurs are given the stage to articulate their ideas and compete against others for prizes of cash and services. Judges - successful entrepreneurs, investors, and other business professionals - score and rank the winners. This competition is open to ALL Central Ohio university students and qualified high school students. Industry Forum:
Four Industry Forums will run concurrently with the IdeaPitch competition. Join industry leaders, human resource professionals and recent hired graduates from Central Ohio companies (from established companies to startup's) to hear about industry trends, to explore career opportunities and to create new contacts. Companies interested in participating can contact Tim Haynes at thaynes@techcolumbus.org.
Networking (Company Displays)
Companies will have exhibit tables in a casual interactive setting designed for networking and discussion. Designed as a refreshing and innovative alternative to traditional methods of career fairs and on-line recruiting, the networking and company exhibit area will be close by to the live IdeaPitch competition and to food and beverage.
WHAT IS THE INDUSTRY FORUM?
Our Industry Forum is like a career fair...but doesn't suck. Students and professionals will connect in a casual and collaborative environmental allowing for professional/personal exchange.
