TechColumbus Voted Best Business Incubator by Metropreneur Readers

The Metropreneur has announced the results of its Best of 2011 reader survey which highlights, among others:

The year’s best entrepreneur: Mary Relotto, founder of Dames Bond, which has been connecting women in business to consumers and resources since 2006.

The year’s best entrepreneurial event: Startup Weekend 2011, which took place Oct. 7-9 at CCAD’s Loann Crane Center for Design. During the event, 18 startup ideas were formed, pitched and refined over the course of three days.

The year’s best business program: The Economic and Community Development Institute (EDCI), which provides small business assistance through a variety of educational, financial and mentorship programs.

The year’s best business incubator: TechColumbus which not only provides business incubation services to tech startups, but also plays a role in the success of other incubators, business accelerators and programs like the 1492 program, INC@8000, and the 10-Xelerator.
