Opportunity:

We are hiring a Technical Quality Assurance Analyst (TQA) in our IT department.  The Technical Quality Assurance Analyst will support the QA organization and NetJets by providing technical testing support for automated tools, websites, environments, and performance/stress/load testing.  The TQA may also be involved in tuning initiatives.  The TQA will develop, maintain, optimize, run, and analyze automated scripts and automated script results.  The TQA will support a variety of projects, assisting with any testing tasks that are highly technical in nature.  The TQA will be involved in training of NetJets staff in any form of automated testing, including functional, performance, stress, load, and tuning.  The Technical Quality Assurance Analyst will have frequent interaction with members of the Development and Infrastructure teams, and may work on test tools and environment assessments/recommendations. This position will be located in Columbus, OH.    

 What do you need to join our team?

  • Automated test tool experience; Mercury/HP tools preferred.
  • Experience in testing software applications.
  • Experience with performance, stress, and load testing.
  • Experience creating and maintaining automated test scripts.
  • Experience with QA methodologies and technique.
  • Experience with training/mentoring of staff new to using automated tools.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent at adapting to a fast-changing environment.
  • NetJets is a 24x7x365 operation.  Job will require evening/weekend work to meet project deliverables.
  • Position requires accurate and timely tracking of time spent working on projects.
  • Team player.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Self-directed. 

What does a Technical Quality Assurance Analyst (TQA) do?

  • Practices and supports automated test methodologies
  • Creates, maintains, optimizes, runs, analyzes, and reports on automated scripts and results; documents test results and defects; validates status of corrected defects
  • Adherence to time and metrics tracking
  • Mentors less experienced team members
  • Adheres to QA processes and procedures
  • Acts as the technical test resource on both projects and migrations
