Experience
  • Minimum of eight years experience in engineering and technical sales.
  • Strong technical background in design and development of electronic and electrical systems in the markets mentioned above.
  • Demonstrable track record in developing and managing technical sales. 
  • Successful track record of problem solving and interacting with customers and suppliers.
  • Experience in market analysis and planning including evaluation of required product specifications. 
  • Superior verbal and written communications skills. •Analytical with strong organizational skills.
Description

Syscom Advanced Materials, Inc. Syscom Advanced Materials, Inc. was founded in 2005 to develop, manufacture and market high performance conductive fibers using state of the art processes, including nanotechnology. In February, 2008 Syscom launched its initial product, AmberStrand® fiber, which is now being used successfully in aerospace and other growing markets ( commercial and defense ). Syscom is now in the process of targeting new markets and applications and expanding its product base. As a result, we are looking for an experienced technical sales manager to develop and manage the company’s technical sales activities.

Reports to: President and CEO

General Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the company’s technical sales function in markets ( commercial/defense ) such as aerospace, automotive, land vehicles, railways, etc. within the framework of the company’s business development plan.
  • This position will participate in developing and implementing company strategy.
