Description

3X Systems, makers of 3X Backup, the industry leading private cloud backup appliance, is looking for a bright, self-motivated, multi-talented individual who is comfortable solving technical problems via phone with our customers, building 3X Backup appliances for order fulfillment, and working hands on with the development team in the design and testing of new software.

Specific Duties

  • Handle incoming support calls via phone and email
  • Troubleshoot software and hardware issues via phone and email
  • Train customers in the proper use of the 3X Backup appliance via phone
  • Track and provide feature feedback for future software releases
  • Build, box, and ship 3X Backup appliances
  • Test and document product features

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Experience troubleshooting Windows and Linux/Unix servers
  • Good working knowledge of TCP/IP networking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Java a plus
