The challenges and opportunities facing technology startups in the region were the focus of Wednesday’s Metropolitan Club luncheon. Two companies recently emerging from the region’s business accelerators Azoti (from 1492) and Acceptd (from 10X) were featured, along with technology success story, CallCopy, in a panel discussion moderated by Tim Haynes, TechColumbus’ interim president and CEO and Chris Winslow, assistant vice president of venture acceleration.
“Startups need the support of the area where they are working,” said David Ranallo, founder and CEO of Azoti, but they also need candid feedback."
“Support us, but don’t coddle us,” he said.
