The Telecom Administrator will be in charge of managing and maintaining the telecommunications infrastructure of the corporate office as well as 400+ retail locations.  This includes managing and monitoring the work of telecom vendors as well as administering an enterprise phone system for the main corporate office, and satellite offices.

 

Requirements
The Telecom administrator will interface with multiple departments on developing new call center enhancements and efficiencies to improve service levels. He/she will work with local providers to troubleshoot telecom related issues and outages.

Requirements

  • Ideal Job Qualifications and Requirements for the Telecom Administrator:
  • Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Broad knowledge of the features, design, performance/quality standards, and service requirements of a large, technologically advanced telecommunications network
  • Knowledge and understanding of work processes, volume, and traffic characteristics associated with telecommunications networks
  • In-depth knowledge VOIP, voicemail, and unified messaging
  • Telecommunications vendor management experience with all major carriers including billing and order processing
  • Experience in a call center environment supporting agent routing, reporting, and high volume inbound and outbound traffic over T1 and PRI circuits
  • Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities to meet multiple deadlines.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills, including the ability to analyze and interpret the needs of customers and offer appropriate solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Toshiba Strata phone system administration strongly preferred
  • Call recording, predictive dialing system management experience preferred
  •  

Familiarity with cloud-based telecom solutions, preferred
