US News Ranks Nationwide Children’s Hospital as a Best Children’s Hospital in All Specialties

Nationwide Children’s Hospital has been ranked in all 10 specialties in the latest US News rankings of Best Children’s Hospitals.  The new rankings recognize the top 50 children’s hospitals in 10 specialties: cancer, cardiology and heart surgery, diabetes and endocrinology, gastroenterology, neonatology, nephrology, neurology and neurosurgery, orthopedics, pulmonology, and urology. For the first time, Nationwide Children’s was ranked in every specialty this year and was ranked in the top10 for gastroenterology and cardiology/heart surgery.  Seven years ago, Nationwide Children’s did not appear in the rankings in any specialty.  This year, the sixth consecutive year the hospital has been listed, it not only improved its rankings in all previously ranked specialties, but made the list for the first time in the following categories:  orthopedics, neurology/neurosurgery and diabetes/endocrinology.
