Ohio State’s College of Medicine, housed at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, was ranked 19th among pediatric programs on the recently published US News & World Report’s list of Top Medical Schools in the United States. Research efforts of OSU’s College of Medicine Department of Pediatrics are organized into multidisciplinary Centers of Excellence that are overseen by the Research Institute at Nationwide Children’s.
“It is an honor to be listed among the top pediatric-training institutions in the country,” said Michael Brady, MD, chair of the Department of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. “It is our goal to enhance the health of our children by providing the highest quality training of future physicians, and this ranking is evidence of our faculty’s commitment to excellence in patient care, teaching and research.”
Earlier this year Nationwide Children’s Hospital was ranked as one of America’s Best Children’s Hospitals by US News.
