Venture Capital Investments in Ohio Companies Up 81% Over 2009

This week, the Ohio Capital Fund held its seventh annual Ohio Early Stage Summit, bringing together some of the state’s most promising young companies to present before an audience of venture capital investment firms from around the nation.  Part of the event included the release of the 2010 Ohio Venture Capital Report which indicates that venture capital investments within the state reached $567 million – an 81 percent increase over 2009 investments.
