Venture Highway Receives Additional Seed Funding From NCT Ventures

COLUMBUS, Ohio (August 11, 2011) – Venture Highway (http://www.venturehighway.com) announced today that it has received additional seed funding from NCT Ventures, a Columbus-based venture capital firm created by entrepreneurs. The funding will be used to enhance the technology platform of its customizable online entrepreneurial system.

“The company is passing the mile markers they established on their roadmap,” said Bill Frank, a partner at NCT Ventures. “We are proud to provide additional fuel for them to stay on the Venture Highway.”

Venture Highway launched in 2010 to provide college and university instructors an integrated system of customizable online entrepreneurial curricula, tools and resources. Each course is flexible, allowing instructors to easily adapt different sections of their classes to meet their needs. Venture Highway currently offers two pre-packaged course offerings, Foundations of Entrepreneurship and Venture Accelerator, both of which have been piloted at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business. The company also offers a module-based system to guide aspiring entrepreneurs through the process of starting and operating a successful business.
