During the 11th annual Michelin Challenge Bibendum recently held in Berlin the Venturi Volage won three awards including the Design Award, Best Acceleration Prize and the CO2 Emissions Prize.
The Volage features 4-wheel drive and active suspension. Its Active Wheel technology incorporates two electric motors per wheel for a total of eight electric motors deiven in real time by sophisticated electronics. The active electric shock absorber system allows for total adaptation to road surfaces and driving types. And its road holding maneuverability and silent running represent state-of-the-art in automotive technology.
Venturi, which for the last ten years has pursued sustained innovation in the field of electric vehicles, announced earlier this year its establishment of its North American headquarters in the TechColumbus center on Kinnear Road.
