| Description | Company Description: SoftSyl Technologies is a leading software technology firm that offers development, design, and implementation of automated voice solutions for call centers. We are currently looking for a strong and seasoned full-time Vice President of Sales and Business Development to join our team in the Columbus, Ohio metro area. Position: Responsibilities include developing new business, expanding relationships with existing customers, and managing relationships with resale partners. The individual will identify new opportunities, set account strategies, coordinate internal and external resources, create proposals and close business. This position is also responsible for generating leads and growing revenue through outbound calling and networking. The role will also include regular interaction with outside CEOs, CIOs, Directors of Customer Service, and resale partner sales management. Qualifications: The successful candidate will have five or more years of experience presenting, selling and negotiating technology solutions and engaging with senior executives. A proven track record of public/private sector sales, channel management experiences, and an understanding of the public/private sector acquisition cycles and buying influences are necessary. Previous experience working with executives in the call center industry is a plus. An undergraduate degree is required. The position is based in the Columbus, Ohio metro area.
