War Gaming: The Key to Competitive Victory

“War Gaming” is a favorite buzzword within the CI community. But what is it?
Can it really help me better understand my company’s business environment and competitors?

This interactive session puts participants into a mock wargame, highlighting the best practices for achieving success. Attendees will learn the best situations for using a war game, how it will boost their visibility in their company, and share techniques for organizing a successful event. Participants will have:
•    An understanding of the requirements of a pre-game “Play Book”
•    Techniques for getting management’s buy-in and player involvement
•    Do’s and Don’ts for holding a successful game

About the Speaker

Tanya Sewell is Cipher’s Marketing Director, responsible for all Cipher’s client contact and sales and marketing initiatives. She frequently speaks around the country about various competitive intelligence issues, concentrating on practitioners’ issues. She also frequently presents Cipher’s award-winning enterprise competitive intelligence software, Knowledge.Works, and discusses trends in CI software. Tanya produces a bi-monthly article in Competitive Intelligence Magazine.
