Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience in computer & information science or related field

3-5 years of professional web application development experience; minimum 2 years relational database and data modeling experience. Experience with object-oriented programming, i.e. HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript/DHTML and AJAX development. PHP or ASP.NET experience required; experience in SQL and SharePoint preferred. Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Windows server administration desired. Experience working directly with clients. Knowledge of and experience with modern principles, procedures and standards of web application architectures, implementation and support. Demonstrable web application security knowledge and practice. Knowledge of SDLC best practices, including revision control and release management.

Develop, maintain and improve custom internal and external web applications and interfaces, including underlying business layers communicating with backend databases, using PHP, MySQL, MSSQL, ,Net and other languages. Responsible for development and testing of programs to ensure coding meets design requirements and system objectives. Work independently and in project teams to ensure that applications are implemented according to project specifications and department guidelines, including code quality, documentation, security and brand guidelines. Lead and take part in projects related to the upgrade or creation of applications, including requirements gathering, business analysis, specification, implementation, documentation and maintenance.
