The position does not require heavy programming, but the candidate must have strong HTML and CSS coding skills, a familiarity with current coding standards, and an understanding of how to implement compliance across different browsers. The candidate should understand the principles of design, and must be proficient with the Adobe CS4 or CS5 Creative Suite, and demonstrate strong Photoshop and Dreamweaver skills. Flash and InDesign experience are a plus.

PMG Communications, a strategic communications company located in the Short North is looking for a web designer/developer. 

The ideal candidate would be “self-sufficient” and have their own workstation (laptop), however this is NOT a requirement for this position. PMG Communications is a PC-based workplace, so Mac based designers must demonstrate cross platform proficiency.

This designer/developer will work on critical, deadline-driven projects under the direction of the PMG creative team, so professionalism and good communication skills are required.
