Webinar Scheduled to Review Recent Changes to NIH SBIR Application Process

In January 2010, a number of changes to the process for applying for NIH SBIR grants went into effect.  These changes and other updates will be covered in a free Webinar on Thursday, February 25, at 10 a.m. The Webinar is being hosted by BioOhio.  It will feature Kay Etzler of the NIH SBIR/STTR Program and other program managers from the National Cancer Institute, the National Heart, Lung & Blood Institute and the National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering.  The Webinar will focus on updates to various agencies’ SBIR funding programs, including submission advice and key deadlines.   

The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program is one of the largest sources of funding for small businesses to engage in research and development that has the potential for commercialization and public benefit.
