Websphere Administrator - Contract to Hire or Full Time Employment

COMSYS

BS / BA in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience. Certifications related to the insurance industry are a plus.

Five or more years in a Websphere environment, or equivalent experience.

Our client has an opening for a Websphere Administrator to join their team on a contract to hire or full time basis. The client is adding Websphere servers to their current environment to support new applications coming online within their organization. You will be part of a team that provides application and administration support for Websphere 7.0 running on top of a Windows environment. This will be in a clustered, network deployment environment. This is an excellent opportunity to learn Enterprise Service Bus and Websphere Service Registry & Repository (WSRR).

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE:

- Websphere 7.0 (required)

- Websphere administration skills

- Experience installing / upgrading Websphere

- Enterprise Service Bus 7.0 (nice to have)
