Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) Symposium Hosted by Battelle

In support of our commitment to promoting the diversity and readiness of the next generation of science and technology leaders, Battelle will host a "Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) Symposium" Feb. 28 – March 1, 2012. A first-night reception at Battelle will be followed by a day and a half of keynote speeches, panel discussions, poster sessions and oral presentations at the Blackwell Inn on the campus of The Ohio State University.

The Symposium will showcase the successes of female leaders across a range of scientific and engineering fields, providing a forum for learning and networking. While this is a Battelle-hosted conference, participation is not limited to Battelle staff; clients, colleagues and other members of the scientific, technical and engineering communities are invited to attend. Applications for posters and abstracts are now being accepted. The formal registration process will begin in mid-September.
