Getting sustainable energy initiatives to market faster will be the primary focus of the 2011 Sustainable Energy Forum at Youngstown State University. The annual conference, scheduled for June 6-7, 2011 combines national perspectives and regional economic development focus on specific energy related initiatives within the TechBelt (defined as Ohio/Pennsylvania/West Virginia). Entrepreneurs, small technology companies, large energy companies and researchers will come together to share resources and discuss strategies for promoting the growth new energy technologies.
This year’s theme is “Driving Down the Commercialization Cost of Energy,” and will revolve around the acceleration of economic growth and energy savings through the advancement of sustainable energy initiatives.
